The recent college football poll has edged Oklahoma over Texas even though Texas has beaten Oklahoma by 10 points in there game this season, however they lost to Texas Tech 39-33 whereas Oklahoma Blew Texas Tech out of the water ending the season in a 3 way tie with the computers deciding the teams with the most points to go on to face Missouri. Oklahoma end up winning the poll and going to the conference game..
However .. Oklahoma has not won a damn thing yet.
The 3-way tie argument is officially dead now.
The virtual world of computers decided the tiebreaker.
45-35 IS BACK IN PLAY!
And there is no arguing Texas Tech this time.
Oklahoma better beat Missouri soundly. (texas did win by 25 pts)
There might be a few coaches & harris people who were swayed by the Texas Tech argument.
They are gone now Sooner fans! That argument is no longer a moral dilemna.
But is it over for Texas? If #4 Florida blows #1Alabama out of the water in the SEC title game then they will receive first place votes from the voter, then #2 Oklahoma and #3 Texas will, Oklahoma only edged Texas by the amount of first place votes they had received.
